Enjoy Chopard DLC Titanium L.U.C Engine One Tourbillon Watch

The horological company Chopard has released a unique timepiece, developed intentionally for the Only Watch 2011 event. The new DLC Titanium L.U.C Engine One Tourbillon watch will be presented at the Charity Auction on September, 22. The proceeds raised will be donated to assist research efforts on Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Inspired by the world of racing cars, the new Chopard watch is available in a polished DLC titanium case. Its measurements are 44.40mm x 35.40mm x 10.90mm: length, width and thickness indicated respectively.

At 3 o’clock the case features a DLC titanium crown, embossed with the L.U.C logo. Both front and back sides are fitted with glare-proofed sapphire crystals. The water-resistance of the case is assured down to 50 meters.

The new Chopard DLC Titanium L.U.C Engine One Tourbillon watch comes equipped with a function-packed dial, themed around transparency. It is completed with Arabic numerals engraved and yellow tinted beneath a high-grade sapphire crystal.

The display ensures central hours and minutes, indicated by Dauphine fusee-type hands. At 12 o’clock it features a power reserve indicator, equipped with a black hand with a red tip. At 6 o’clock, the dial exhibits a tourbillon mechanism allied with a black small seconds hand.

Animating the functions is a hand-wound tourbillon movement - L.U.C 1TRM. Embellished with 29 jewels, it operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The movement incorporates a barrel, which ensures a 60-hour power reserve.

Keeping the new Chopard watch secured to the wearer’s wrist is a hand-sewn black alligator leather strap. It is lined with brown alligator leather, adorned with a gadrooned motif. It terminates in DLC titanium pin buckle.

Meet Maurice Lacroix Caldera Pontos Decentrique GMT Watch

Maurice Lacroix is happy to introduce a unique watch, named Caldera Pontos Decentrique GMT. Developed by Patricia Urquiola, designer and architect, it portrays a very clean design, yet endowed with a playful side.

The new Maurice Lacroix watch is set in a 43mm case. It is crafted from micro-blasted stainless steel. The top of the model is protected by a convex sapphire crystal with glare-proofed treatment. Its screwed back part is also fitted with a sapphire glass. The case is submersible to 50 meters.

Ticking inside the model is a hand-decorated automatic mechanical ML 121movement. It is embellished with 30 jewels.

The mechanism animates an array of functions, featured on a micro-blasted silver dial. It employs a bathtub design style.

The face of the new Maurice Lacroix Caldera Pontos Decentrique GMT watch reveals an off-centered display, indicating hours, minutes and seconds. It is overlapped by the second time zone, smaller in size. The date indication appears in a micro-blasted brushed silver aperture at 6 o’clock.

Both time zones are equipped with black printed hour-markers and rhodium-plated hands, luminous at night.

A genuine black calfskin leather strap completes the features of the new Maurice Lacroix watch, to be auctioned online. All the proceeds raised will be donated to the Global Diversity Foundation.

The timepiece maker Lancaster has proudly introduced a new Top Up Time watch. Designed by the Italian Studios Big Pilch, it will satisfy the expectations of the most discerning customer.

With its character cast in a sportive style, the new Lancaster watch is delivered in a 47mm case. It is rendered in 316L stainless steel. The brand also offers an all black version.
