Meet Paul Picot Technicum 1872 Watch

Saturday, May 21, 2011

Paul Picot is pleased to unveil its new elegant timepiece – the Technicum 1872 watch. The hand-winding chronograph watch, demonstrating a modern, extremely pure look, is animated by a historical movement - caliber Lemania 1872, originally introduced in 1969.

The new Paul Picot watch reflects traditional values of the brand. The hand-winding movement was initially created for the Swedish Air Force and is highly appreciated by the brand’s watchmakers for its reliability.

The historic movement has been given a modern touch. The mechanism incorporates screws in blue PVD. The use of PVD-coating for levers improves their sliding and makes the chronograph easier to use.

The movement reflects thorough attention paid to every detail as for its aesthetic and technical characteristics.

The 42mm case of the watch is rendered in stainless steel or rose gold. The classically pure dial is white or anthracite.

The Paul Picot Technicum 1872 watch is sure to appeal to those who appreciate traditional mechanical watches.
