Badollet La Stellaire Tourbillon Watch - Ultra Expensive Materials

Saturday, April 30, 2011

Badollet is pleased to introduce its new La Stellaire tourbillon watch, which employed ultra-expensive materials in its manufacturing.

The new Badollet watch is constructed around a Swiss made 29.90 mm hand-wound BAD1630 movement. Its base-plate is made of the metal from the famous Cape York meteorite. The mechanism also incorporates a tourbillon carriage, set with olivine gems. It operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a respectable power reserve of 120 hours.

The movement serves to animate a set of functions, presented on an open-worked opaline-colored dial. It is embellished with 72 baguette-cut diamonds and 12 sapphires. The total weight of the gems is equal to 2.67 carats.

The display of the new Badollet La Stellaire tourbillon watch whispers the time through leaf-shaped rhodium-plated hour and minute hands. The tourbillon mechanism can be admired in the opening at 6 o’clock.

The dial is housed in a 44mm round-shaped case. It is crafted from 150 palladium-coated white gold. The same material is used for the bezel. It safely holds a top glare-proofed sapphire crystal. Also fitted with a sapphire glass, the case-back permits a glance into a power reserve indicator. The water-resistance of the case is assured down to 30 meters.

The new Badollet watch gadget is mounted on an entirely hand-stitched black alligator leather strap. It joins to a folding clasp in 150 palladium-coated white gold.
